Hanging Coffins of the Bo People in south Sichuan is a heritage from the vanished ancient Bo minority. First appearing from about 2,000 years ago, the hanging coffins are part of the unique funeral and sacrifice customs of the ancient Bo people inhabited in southwestern China. With nearly 300 well-preserved coffins hung on the high cliffs, this site is known as China’s natural museum of hanging coffins.

During the trip, you will also have the opportunity to see the world-famous 71-meter-high Leshan Giant Buddha as well as explore China’s Jurassic Park – the renowned Zigong Dinosaur Museum. What’s more, we will take you to visit Zigong’s Salt Industry History Museum and Shenhai Well. At these two places, you will learn a lot about the long history of China’s salt production and in the meanwhile, you’ll be amazed by the beautiful traditional Chinese architectures with exquisite stone and wood sculptures. Last but not least, you may also have the chance to enjoy a cup of tea at the unusual riverside Wangye Temple Teahouse, which is considered by BBC as the best teahouse in Sichuan province of China.
